On Monday, April 7, 107.5 WBLS’ nationally syndicated program, The Steve Harvey Morning Show broadcasted live from the World Famous Apollo Theater in Harlem. The entire cast of the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Shirley Strawberry, Carla Ferrell and Nephew Tommy were joined by over 500+ listeners who lined up as early at 2:30am to be among the first to join in the fun.
In the beginning of 2008, both The Steve Harvey Morning Show and host station, 107.5 WBLS, embarked on a “Healthy, Wealthy and Wise” initiative. Mr. Harvey encouraged listeners to be a part of his various clubs….“Fifty and Fly”, “Forty and Fabulous” and “Thirty and Tight” The broadcast designed to reveal Steve Harvey’s new “Fifty and Fly” look included special guests, eight time Mr. Olympia, Lee Haney, Founder of the 50 Million Pound Challenge and Celebrity Fit Club’s , Dr. Ian Smith, Dawn Strozier and her fitness kids, plus a live performance of “The River’ by Noel Gourdin.
