Wendy grew up in Ocean Township, New Jersey where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications (with a minor in journalism) from Northeastern University in Boston. Wendy received several "Radio Personality of the Year"; awards from Billboard Magazine, Black Radio Exclusive and Radio & Records Magazine. Wendy has authored 2 books, THE WENDY WILLIAMS EXPERIENCE and WENDY'S GOT THE HEAT which debuted at #9 on the New York Times and Book Sense bestseller list. Wendy is a regular on VH1 and has developed a series of shows called "Wendy Williams is On Fire".
