Steve and Marjorie Harvey have partnered up with music producer Metro Boomin to create a new initiative to help and celebrate single mothers.
This past Sunday, the initiative hosted 26 single mothers and their children at the Atlanta Falcons game. They were treated to a VIP game experience, had their travel expenses taken care of and were granted access to the player’s tunnel in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium just before kick-off.
The mothers and children were also allowed on the football field with both teams during the national anthem. According to reports, this initiative is to “spotlight and celebrate single mothers” and partnering with the Harveys’ foundation will help provide the proper support and resources.
For Metro, this initiative is important to him due to the tragic loss of his own mother. Earlier this year, it was reported that his mother, Leslie Wayne was shot and killed by her husband but he took his own life.
She raised the producer and his three other siblings and was his biggest supporter. On her birthday in 2019, Metro gifted her a new purse and called her his biggest inspiration.
