Former basketball star, Lamar Odom, is taking his entrepreneurial game up another step. He has entered a deal with ZNest.com to acquire his company, Odom Senior Care. The senior care facility just launched earlier this year. Znest.com is an internet senior care referral platform that focuses on making looking for senior homes as transparent as it is to find an apartment.
“It became abundantly clear that ZNest.com and Odom Senior Care not only share similar visions but are also driven by parallel missions rooted deeply in personal family experiences,” said Bennett Kim, Z Nest Founder, in a news release. “Both organizations strive to provide transparency in the opaque world of senior living, aiming to connect families with senior living facilities that fit their personal needs.”
Odom will assume serve as Chief Creative Officer at ZNest.com under the deal. He says he aims to empower families who are looking for good senior care living facilities.
“We have the same goals so it just made sense for us to work together,” Lamar Odom said in the statement.
The former NBA Lakers player previously explained his inspiration behind launching the facility. He wanted to create a senior care company because of his beautiful relationship with his 96-year-old grandmother.
According to the company’s site, Odom Senior Care was built on the idea of making the choice of finding the right senior care for your family, a straightforward and transparent process.
