Two-time Emmy Award-winning journalist and TV host, Tamron Hall is the latest inductee of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
Hall and other members from across the country met at the 71st Boule in Dallas, Texas. Where they welcome three distinguished women as honorary members. Along with Hall, Attica Locke, and Tembi Locke joined AKA’s sisterhood with impressive backgrounds and shared values.
The award-winning TV host, began her syndicated daytime talk show in September 2019 which has since won her two Daytime Emmy Awards. As a veteran journalist, Hall leans into her 30 plus years in the field to ask the tough questions while having engaging thoughtful conversations.
Her other TV production gigs include hosting “Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall” for six seasons on Investigation Discovery. The show took an in-depth look at crimes that shocked the nation. Previously, Hall co-hosted the third hour of “TODAY” and “TODAY’s Take” for three years and anchored “MSNBC Live with Tamron Hall.”
A native of Luling, Texas, Hall holds a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University, where she serves on the Board of Trustees.
