Nelly has reportedly been arrested in St. Louis according to police records.
The rapper was arrested with four ecstasy pills in his possession as well as for not having insurance. He was detained at 4:45 am and taken to the Maryland Heights Police Department, however, he was later released.
The police department confirmed that the “Hot in Herre” rapper had an outstanding traffic summons on Aug. 7. Nelly’s arrest comes a year after fans speculated that he was high while performing on stage.
Last January, during a performance in Australia at Juicy Fest, concertgoers showed concern for the rapper after they noticed that he was struggling to keep his eyes open. They said that he was rolling them and smiling strangely.
