Jordan Chiles’ bronze medal controversy at the 2024 Paris Olympics has captured the attention of fans and celebrities alike. Among the many voices of support, hip-hop legend Flavor Flav has made an offer that is both unique and heartfelt. In a message posted on X (formerly Twitter), Flav expressed his solidarity with Chiles in his signature style.

“Ayyy YOOOO @ChilesJordan,,, imma make you a BRONZE CLOCK NECKLACE,” Flav wrote. “And that’s something NO ONE else has,!!! Hit me up my girl,,, I gotchu,!!!” The message was accompanied by a gif of the rapper decked out in red, white, and blue, cheering on Team USA from the stands.

Chiles’ spot on the podium came after her coach, Cecile Landi, successfully inquired about her floor routine score, moving her from fifth to third place. However, the Romanian Gymnastics Federation challenged the inquiry, claiming it was made after the one-minute deadline. If upheld, this complaint could result in Chiles losing her medal.

Flavor Flav’s Continued Olympic Generosity

Flavor Flav, a well-known Team USA superfan, has been a constant presence at the Paris Olympics, supporting athletes in various ways. Before the Games, Flav became a sponsor of the U.S. women’s water polo team, and he even helped Olympian Veronica Fraley with her rent. His dedication to supporting athletes has not gone unnoticed.

The Olympic legend himself acknowledged the importance of his support during the Games, stating, “These girls are out here busting their butt to make the United States look good. So, when they’re out here playing and practicing, it takes them away from their work. So I said to myself, why not step in and try to help these girls out?”
