Wendy Williams has made her first public appearance in over a year.

Recent photos surfaced of the former TV talk show host and her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., at Bolingo Balance, a holistic wellness store in Newark, New Jersey. This is the first time that Williams has been seen since her continuous health struggles.

In the photos, Williams seemingly appears happy as she poses for photos with a store’s owner. According to reports, she spoke with the store’s owner, Victor Bowman, about different holistic health products. Bowman said Williams was “engaging but wasn’t as familiar with what we do here, so her son was more explaining things.”

Bowman also said that he gave Williams a few herbal supplements, including capsules to enhance hormonal balance and mental well-being as well as herbs such as sarasparilla. “She talked about circulation improvement but didn’t want to get into too much detail on their first meeting and plans to come back in the near future,” he said.

We recently reported that Williams was diagnosed with dementia and aphasia earlier this year. The announcement was made to clear up previous inaccurate rumors about her health challenges. The aphasia affects her language and communication skills, along with frontotemporal dementia, a progressive disorder impacting her behavior and cognitive functions.

We’re happy to see that Wendy Williams seems to be in better spirits.
