Candace Owens Issues An Apology To The Late Michael Jackson

Candace Owens has issued an apology to the late Michael Jackson on the latest episode of her show Candace.  

During her show, she revealed that she grew up listening to the King of Pop and also said that she believed the allegations that were bought up against him. However, she has changed her mind. “I was young, but I was disappointed in myself for having believed everything about someone who, you have no idea what this man meant, especially to Black Americans,” she said. “We will continue to hold a candle for the King of Pop.”

She continued, “What happened to Michael Jackson never happen today. The media ran things… They completely controlled our minds. I, too was warped to believe that Micahel Jackson was a pedophile.” Owens went on to talk about Jackson’s life story, his legacy, and how he was portrayed in the media. According to reports, Owens compared the negative coverage that Jackson received to her own experiences with the media and other journalists.

She later expressed her loved for the King of Pop and talked about her love for his 1983 album Thriller. “This is artwork,” she said as she recalled dancing to his music and copying his moves. She added why she doesn’t believe that Michael Jackson molested of his accusers, Jordan Chandler. Watch the entire interview below.

On Thursday, August 29th, would have been Michael Jackson’s 66th birthday. He passed away on June 25th, 2009 at the age of 50.
