Hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg and his iconic label, Death Row Records, have inked a major publishing agreement with Reservoir Media. This deal covers Snoop’s entire discography and Death Row’s legendary catalog, marking a significant moment for both parties.

Under this new partnership, Reservoir Media will manage the domestic publishing for Snoop’s extensive collection of music. This includes hits like “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” “Beautiful,” and “Gin and Juice.” They will also oversee future releases, such as Missionary, Snoop’s upcoming collaboration with Dr. Dre.

Reservoir will also handle the publishing catalog of Death Row Records, home to classic albums from rap heavyweights like 2Pac and Dr. Dre. Iconic songs like “Hail Mary” and “I Ain’t Mad At Cha” are part of this catalog.

A Historic Partnership with Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg expressed his excitement about the new deal. “I’m so honored to have them as a partner and excited for all the great things to come with the catalog as well as new music ventures,” Snoop said. “2024 and beyond,” he added, looking ahead to the future.

The deal comes two years after Snoop Dogg acquired Death Row Records, a label he helped build early in his career. Reflecting on this, he said, “It feels good to have ownership of the label I was part of at the beginning of my career.”

Reservoir’s CEO, Golnar Khosrowshahi, praised Snoop’s impact and vision. “Being in business with Snoop is an exciting opportunity to support his legendary catalog,” she said. “This deal also marks a unique moment to help further the legacy of an important and valuable brand like Death Row.”

Strengthening Legacies

Donna Caseine, Reservoir’s Executive Vice President, echoed these sentiments. “Snoop is part of that echelon. From music, to brands, television, and film, his acumen represents excellence,” she said, recognizing his decades-long influence in hip-hop and pop culture.

Snoop Dogg joins a growing list of artists working with Reservoir, including Mannie Fresh and Offset. This deal highlights the continuing legacy of both Snoop and Death Row, paving the way for future projects.
