Snoop Dogg is leaving his legal issues in the past.

According to reports, his 1993 murder case has officially been sealed. Legal documents show that the rapper had asked a judge to seal his records back in January and the court granted the petition in February.

In 1993, Snoop Dogg was up and coming in the rap game when he got arrested following his MTV Awards performance of the song “Murder Was The Case,” a song that was created about the allegations against him. He along with his bodyguard were accused of killing a man in an L.A. Park in 1993.

In 1996, he was found not guilty and it went on to change his persona and his music throughout his career. Snoop was recently a celebrity spokesperson for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, which he earned millions of dollars for. His arrest was also sealed before summer began.

Snoop also received help from Ceasar McDowell and his nonprofit organization, “Unite the People” to have the record sealed. As of now, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre are working to release an album. This is a huge win for the rapper, what are your thoughts on this?
