Jadakiss, the iconic rapper and member of The LOX, recently revealed the best party he’s ever attended was thrown by none other than Sean “Diddy” Combs. During an appearance on Complex’s GOAT Talk series with his son, Jae’Won, Jadakiss reflected on the legendary parties hosted by the Bad Boy Records founder.
“For me, by far, it was a Diddy party,” Jadakiss said when asked to name the greatest party he’d ever been to. “We were signed to Bad Boy, and we had some of the best parties ever in our life.”
Jadakiss was quick to note that the events he attended happened long before any of the recent allegations against Diddy surfaced. “This is long before anything, any allegations, or any of that,” he clarified. “We was only going to house parties and gymnasiums back then.”
Jadakiss Reflects on Memorable Moments at Diddy’s Parties
One particular event still stands out for the Yonkers native. “My GOAT party was a launch to the tour party at a place called Metrodome on 20-something street,” Jadakiss recalled. “We had the party, and then the tour buses were outside waiting. That was incredible. The parking lot was filled with tour buses.”
Jadakiss, along with his group The LOX, signed with Bad Boy Records in the late ’90s. During this period, the group experienced the height of the label’s fame, and, according to Jada, the parties reflected the success.
“It’s the first time we ever been in places like Cipriani’s or venues of that caliber,” he mentioned, underscoring how different these gatherings were compared to the typical parties he had attended before.
While Diddy’s name is now associated with serious legal troubles, Jadakiss made it clear that his memories of those parties are from a time when they were all about fun, celebration, and the music. “Those were just good times, before all of the allegations,” he reiterated.
For Jadakiss, those nights were truly unforgettable, with Diddy’s extravagant gatherings setting the standard for what a party could be.
