Halle Bailey has voiced her frustration with ex-boyfriend, DDG, for featuring their son Halo on a livestream without her consent.
On Nov 6, DDG, 27, featured their 10-month-old son, Halo, on a livestream hosted by popular YouTuber Kai Cenat.
Bailey, currently out of town, took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice her disapproval, revealing that she hadn’t been notified beforehand. “I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions without my consent,” the In Your Hands singer shared, describing herself as “his mother and protector.”
The 24-year-old added, “I am his mother and protector and saddened that i wasn’t notified especially when i am out of town.”
DDG (real name Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) and The Little Mermaid star welcomed Halo on January 6, 2024. “Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son,” Bailey wrote. “Welcome to the world my halo 🥰👼🏽 ✨the world is desperate to know you 😉🤣♥️.”
DDG also posted an announcement of his own, writing, “my biggest blessing by far 👶🏽❤️ son son.. never been so in love 🥹 baby halo.”
Last month, the rapper confirmed their split saying he and Bailey “decided to go our separate ways.”
“After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” the rapper and YouTuber wrote in a statement on social media. “This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us.”
