Michelle Williams Receives Support From Beyoncè & Kelly Rowland At Broadway Show

Michelle Williams, Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland had a Destiny’s Child reunion this weekend.

Beyonce, 43 and Kelly Rowland, 43 attended the opening of their former band member, Michelle Williams’, Death Becomes Her Broadway show.

Beyoncé shared a video on Instagram on Saturday (Nov. 23), with photos from the outing, including snaps from Times Square, inside the theater and a backstage reunion.

While the post did not include a caption, the Cowboy Carter singer set the post to her song “II Most Wanted” — specifically the lyrics, “I’ll be your shotgun rider till the day I die.”

Fans were delighted by the reunion, with one commenting on Beyoncé’s post, “I love how y’all love each other. The sisterhood is so beautiful!”

Williams commented on the post, writing, “I try not to cry too early in the day BUT……. My sisters 4ever! 🤍💫.”

Tina Knowles, also attended the performance and shared the photos on her Instagram account, commenting: “It is always great seeing Destiny’s Child together. At the Death Becomes Her premier the other night on Broadway in New York City.

Death Becomes Her is based on the 1992 dark comedy Universal movie of the same name, directed by Robert Zemeckis, which starred Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn and Bruce Willis.

Williams plays Viola Van Horn in the musical, playing at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York, that also stars Megan Hilty, Jennifer Simard and Christopher Sieber.

The reunion also comes shortly after the 20th anniversary of the trio’s last studio album, Destiny Fulfilled which debuted on Nov. 15, 2004.
