Comedians like Leslie Jones and Tiffany Haddish have openly addressed the current beef between Kevin Hart and Katt Williams after Hart said,” You were set up to be the star. You didn’t show up to work! You f—ked off promo shoots! You f—ked off promo trips. You became a risk to the studios, which is why the studio stopped f—king with you,” referring to Williams. The thing is, Kevin says, “There is no beef.”
Hart stopped by the Steve Harvey Morning Show today to said the record straight about his comments regarding Katt Williams.
“I said what I said because it needed to be said…The point behind what I said and what people are missing is when you see people in your field that are working hard…you step back and applaud it because we’ve been there.”
He continued, “To tear down means we’re being hypocrits about the roles being given to people of color in Hollywood. There is no beef. I don’t care. I don’t have enough care to care about that. I care about being there for the next generation for people of color.”
Since Kevin and Katt aren’t at war, the funny man moved on to promote his new movie, Night School, which hits theaters this Friday, September 28.
