The world of hip-hop just took another loss. Digital Underground rapper, Shock G has passed away at the age of 57.
G’s death comes after the tragic loss of DMX and Black Rob. As of right now, no cause of death has been revealed. Shock G will always be remembered for his influential hit single “The Humpty Dance” which spawned his alter ego Humpty Hump.
He was also instrumental in helping Tupac Shakur with his rap career. He produced Pac’s hit singles “I Get Around” and “So Many Tears.”
Shock G also worked with other artists including, Dr. Dre, Monie Love, KRS-One, and more.
