We recently reported that Warner Bros. was working on remaking the 1992 classic “The Bodyguard” that starred Kevin Costner and the late Whitney Houston.
This news was received with mixed reviews, however Houston’s ex-husband, Bobby Brown is not here for the new idea.
According to reports, Brown was asked if he heard the news about remaking the film, he replied, “Yeah, it’s a bad move.”
At the moment casting for the movie has been confirmed, however names such as Cardi B. Channing Tatum, Tessa Thompson, and Chris Hemsworth have been dropped as possibilities for the film.
Playwright Matthew Lopez, best known for his 2018 play The Inheritance is set to write the script for this new film. Do you think that they should continue with the remake of this movie or do you agree with Bobby Brown?
