An ABC 7 Eyewitness News helicopter made an emergency landing at a Queens high school.

Reports state that the landing occurred around 9:38 a.m. outside of Archbishop Molloy High School in the Briarwood area of Queens. The helicopter landed on the school’s baseball field and the FDNY, NYC Emergency Management, NYPD Emergency Services, and the Federal Aviation Administration responded to the scene.

Officials say that no one was injured and it is unclear what led up to the emergency landing. It is also unknown how many people were on the helicopter during the time of the landing. The school is currently closed due to winter break.

ABC 7 News nor anyone from Molloy High School have commented on the incident. A similar incident took place in the Bronx on Thursday Morning. A few military helicopters landed in Port Morris next to the Third Avenue thoroughfare around 8 a.m.

Reports are unsure if the two incidents are connected. This is a developing news story and we will keep you posted with updates.
