Patti LaBelle officially has a key to New York City.
During her amazing performance at the Coney Island Amphitheater for Rise Up NYC, the “Only You Knew” singer was presented with the Entertainment Key to New York City on behalf of Mayor Eric Adams.
Ms. LaBelle performed her hits such as, “Somebody Loves You, Baby,” and “Lady Marmalade” where fans joined her on the stage for the epic performance.
Other artists such as Force MDs, Sugar Hill Gang, and Melle Mel also took the stage and had Coney Island on their feet. During the show and in true Patti LaBelle fashion, the queen had an outfit change. She rocked a stunning all-pink suit and then a bedazzled skirt suit with a flowing train.
The Rise Up NYC concerts will take place all over NYC for the rest of the summer. On Friday, August 9th, our very own Dahved Levy will be hosting Caribbean night with performances from Spice, Alison Hinds, Kerwin Du Bois,Teejay, Charly Black, and more.
The event will be held at Coney Island Amphitheater and it starts at 7 pm.
