Adele could be heading down the aisle again!
It has been reported that she is engaged to her boyfriend, Rich Paul. The 36-year-old singer said yes and called her loved ones to share the good news. The happy couple are supposed to have a big party sometime in 2025.
A close source to the couple said, “Rich planned for the proposal to be in her hometown, and gave her an incredible four-carat diamond ring, They celebrated with champagne at Chiltern Firehouse the following evening.”
For years, it has been speculated that the couple were already secretly married. Adele raised those suspicions after she referred to herself as Paul’s wife and him her husband multiple times. The source added, “Adele thinks it’s hilarious that fans reckon they’re already married. It’s been an in-joke. Now everyone is joking that she could make the ultimate wedding singer.”
If the proposal is true, this will be Adele’s second marriage. She previously married to Simon Konecki for over a decade. The two divorced in 2021 and they share an 11-year-old son, Angelo. After her divorce, she began to date Paul and in 2022, they allegedly bought a house together in 2022.
In August of 2022, the “Hello” singer revealed that she has plans to spend forever with Rich. “I’ve never been in love like this. I’m obsessed with him. I definitely want more kids. I’m a homemaker and I’m a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music.”
She was asked about a ring and she responded, “Well! Well. Well, I’m not married. I’m just in loooove! I’m happy as I’ll ever be. I might as well be married. I’m not engaged. I just love high-end jewelry, boy!”
