Beyoncé Drops SirDavis Whiskey
Beyoncé has launched her own whiskey brand, SirDavis, named after her great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, who was a farmer and moonshiner during Prohibition. This American Whiskey is blended, finished, and bottled in Texas and takes inspiration from Scotch and Japanese whiskeys, mirroring Beyoncé’s personal taste. Made from 51% rye and 49% barley, the spirit is aged with a secondary maturation in sherry casks. In collaboration with Moët Hennessy, Beyoncé aims to create a whiskey that balances tradition and innovation. The idea for SirDavis started years ago when Beyoncé approached Moët Hennessy to develop a unique whiskey. Notably, this is Moët Hennessy’s first American Spirit made entirely in-house in the U.S., linking to Beyoncé’s Texan roots. SirDavis is available for pre-sale at £79 per bottle, with shipping beginning on September 4th.
