Bill and Camille Cosby have decided to live their lives out of the public eye and are reportedly fearing for their lives.
The couple, who recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, are in seclusion for their protection after Bill Cosby was released from Pennsylvania State Prison. The actor was accused of rape, sexual assault, and sexual harassment by over 60 women. In 2021 his conviction was overturned by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, which ruled that Cosby’s due process rights were violated.
A source close to the couple says that Bill believes that he will be killed by one of his accuser’s relatives or by someone trying to become famous. He also says that he fears for his wife’s life as well. Andrew Wyatt, Cosby’s representative said that the couple spends their time between their homes in New York City and Massachusetts but adds that they don’t like feeling like prisoners in their home.
“He knows what kind of world they live in,” Wyatt said in a statement. “Who knows what they’d do to him, his wife, daughters, or grandchildren?” Wyatt also revealed that Bill Cosby has received threats from the relatives of the accusers and said that he had to purchase two handguns for his protection.
“We live in a strange and crazy world. People don’t care,” Wyatt said.
