Brian Andrews of Day 26 has been arrested during a traffic stop in Texas.

According to reports, the arrest took place on March 29, 2025, and things quickly escalated once deputies discovered that Andrews had two outstanding warrants, one for felony robbery and the other for a misdemeanor child support. He was immediately arrested, taken into custody, and booked into the Harris County Jail.

Constable Mark Herman said in a statement, “Brian Andrews was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants. His bond was set at $12,500 out of the 179th District Court.” As of now, it is unclear what the circumstances are surrounding the felony robbery charge.

Brian Andrews quickly rose to fame in 2007, as part of Making the Band 4, where he would earn a spot in the R&B singing group, Day 26, which was created by Diddy. In 2008, the group’s debut album, Day 26, debuted on the Billboard 200 charts at No. 1 and gave us hits such as “Got Me Going,” “Co-Star,” and “Since You’ve Been Gone.”

In 2012, the group broke up due to internal conflicts. The group has since reunited and begun working on new music together.
