Buju Banton’s New York fans are in for a treat!
Tickets for Buju Banton’s triumphant return have been selling like the proverbial hot cakes. Due to high demand, a second date has been added to his “Long Walk To Freedom New York” concert at the UBS Arena in Queens, New York.
Buju will be supported by his The Shiloh Band, while Dahved Levy will host the event, with music by Bobby Konders and Jabba.
“So to the vibes and the energy we are giving New York City another show. Yes two nights only. Seee ya,” Buju posted on Instagram Friday morning.
In response, his ardent fans wrote: “What an experience …. This has been the most stress I’ve had to get concert tickets … BB The Sunday show is the best show because we’re going to be saying happy birthday. Blessed Earthstrong to my favourite artiste‼️”
Fans also commented that the tickets were stressful to secure.
“Just got in the cue & I’ve been waiting since 10 am. Talk about STRESS!!”
Another added, “Hardest ticket to get of the summer.”
Banton revealed early in May that he received his visa to travel to the United States, making these shows possible. The two shows will mark Banton’s first US performance in 13 years.
The very first ‘Long Walk to Freedom’ concert was held on March 16, 2019 at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica and made history with an attendance of more than 30,000 people.
