Rapper and content creator DDG recently opened up about his personal life following his publicized split from actress and singer Halle Bailey. During a YouTube live stream, the “Moonwalking in Calabasas” artist made it clear he has no plans to start dating anyone new, unless it’s Bailey.
“I am not dating anyone,” DDG shared with his fans. “I don’t have a potential girlfriend, nor do I even think about that. I don’t plan on getting into another relationship, unless it’s Halle.”
This announcement comes after the 26-year-old revealed on social media that he and Bailey, known for her role in The Little Mermaid, had decided to take a break from their relationship. On October 3, DDG shared a heartfelt message detailing the split, stating that the couple had agreed to focus on their “individual journeys.”

In his post, DDG explained that the decision for he and Bailey to separate wasn’t easy. “After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” he wrote. “This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us.”
Despite their breakup, DDG emphasized that they still have a deep connection. “Our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other,” he continued. The couple also remains committed to co-parenting their son, Halo, who was born in early 2023.
DDG ended his message by asking for support from fans as he and Bailey navigate this new chapter in their lives. “Thank you for your love and encouragement,” he concluded, while also requesting “understanding” as they go through the transition.
The couple, who first sparked romance rumors in early 2022, became parents this year. Despite their split, DDG made it clear that if he were to rekindle a relationship, Bailey would be the only person on his mind.
