Deshaun Watson has been hit with another lawsuit.
The Cleveland Browns quarterback is being accused of sexual assault and battery by a woman who will only be identified as Jane Doe. She stated that the incident took place in October 2020, when Watson was playing for the Houston Texans.
Doe said that she agreed to a dinner date at her apartment after refusing to meet him at the mall. She said that the NFL player got aggressive with her by yelling and screaming at her on the phone when he couldn’t find her apartment.
The lawsuit then goes on to state that after she came out of her bathroom, she found Watson laying her in bed completely naked, where he allegedly asked her to massage his behind. However, she would rub his back instead.
He then allegedly turned over and demanded that Jane Doe continue to massage his knees and groin. Doe claimed she told him that she was not a masseuse and then asked what did she want to do.
The lawsuit also says that “Watson partially disrobed Jane Doe and penetrated her without consent before she could respond.” She claimed that she was assaulted for several minutes before escaping and grabbing a heavy object to defend herself.
He would later abruptly leave her apartment. Jane Doe is suing for more than $1 million as well as “pre-and post-judgment interest at the maximum legal rate, costs of court, punitive damages, and any other relief to which Plaintiff may be justly entitled.”
Jane Doe is currently being represented by Tony Buzbee, who has previously served as the attorney in the 23 civil lawsuits against Watson. He was suspended for 11 games and fined $5 million for his actions.
