Sean “Diddy” Combs turned 55 on Monday, November 4, receiving a heartwarming birthday call from his seven children while behind bars. The hip-hop mogul, held in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center on serious charges, was all smiles as his kids came together to celebrate the occasion.

Family Celebrates Diddy’s 55th Despite His Incarceration

In a video posted on Instagram, Diddy’s children — Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, twins D’Lila and Jessie, and two-year-old Love — gathered around a birthday cake to sing for their father. Love led the song with her sweet voice, prompting her father to laugh and express his gratitude. “I love y’all so much,” Diddy said, his voice filled with emotion. His children responded enthusiastically, “We love you too.”

Diddy continued with a heartfelt message: “I can’t wait to see y’all. I just want to say I’m proud of y’all, especially the girls. Thank you for being strong and supporting me. I got the best family in the world.” For Diddy, it was a moment of family unity amid his ongoing legal challenges.

Since Diddy’s arrest on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and other alleged crimes, his children have been vocal in their support for him. Last month, they issued a joint statement expressing solidarity with their father despite the mounting accusations.

“The past month has devastated our family,” they wrote. “Many have judged both him and us based on accusations and false narratives that have spiraled on social media. We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail.”

Facing a trial scheduled for May 2025, Diddy’s legal troubles continue to grow, but his family remains steadfast. Sources close to them have shared that his children have made multiple court appearances, with his mother even traveling from Florida to offer her support. Their recent public statement only emphasized that their commitment to him has not wavered.

As Diddy spoke to his children over the phone, his youngest daughter, Love, leaned forward and bit directly into the cake, delighting her siblings. Quincy laughed, saying, “Pops, she’s eating the cake, so you ain’t gonna have none left.” Diddy replied with a chuckle, “Get it, get it for Daddy. I love you.”
