Sean “Diddy” Combs has issued a strong rebuttal to recent accusations made by Shyne Barrow, a former Bad Boy signee and now a political leader in Belize. Barrow, once a close associate of Diddy, alleged the music mogul was responsible for his downfall following the infamous 1999 nightclub shooting in New York City.

Shyne Barrow Explosive Allegations

In a conversation with Stephen A. Smith, Barrow described Diddy as “the devil” and accused him of orchestrating events that led to his nine-year prison sentence. “I was the sacrificial lamb in his demonic plot,” Barrow claimed, doubling down on earlier statements. He also referred to Diddy as a “creep,” emphasizing the long-standing strain in their relationship. Barrow, now the Leader of the Opposition in Belize’s House of Representatives, has brought renewed attention to their shared past, partially fueled by Diddy’s ongoing legal troubles and an upcoming Hulu documentary about Barrow’s life transformation.

Diddy Denies Allegations

In a statement to TMZ, a representative for Diddy categorically denied all allegations made by Barrow. “Mr. Combs categorically denies Mr. Barrow’s allegations, including any suggestion that he orchestrated Mr. Barrow to ‘take the fall’ or ‘sacrificed’ him by directing witnesses to testify against him. These claims are unequivocally false,” the statement read.

The rep further emphasized Diddy’s innocence, stating, “Mr. Combs was acquitted of all charges related to the 1999 Club New York incident and has consistently maintained his innocence. He cannot accept or condone any characterization of his actions as ‘demonic’ or ‘malicious.’”

Despite the sharp rebuttal, Diddy’s team expressed hope for reconciliation and wished Barrow well. “Mr. Combs wishes nothing but continued success for Mr. Barrow in all his endeavors,” the statement concluded. The rep also urged journalists to consider “both the established legal outcomes and Mr. Combs’ positive, longstanding support for those he has worked with.”
