Kirk Burrowes, co-founder and former president of Bad Boy Entertainment, has filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing him of years of sexual harassment, coercion, and violence. The 18-page complaint, filed in New York on February 28, alleges that Combs subjected Burrowes to unwanted sexual advances, intimidation, and physical aggression over the course of their professional relationship.

According to the lawsuit, Burrowes claims that Combs used threats and blackmail to take his 25% stake in Bad Boy Entertainment. The filing also accuses Combs’ mother, Janice Combs, of being involved in a scheme to pressure Burrowes into signing away his shares in the company. “Mr. Burrowes was stripped of his ownership through coercion and illegal tactics,” the lawsuit states.

Burrowes’ lawsuit alleges that Combs operated with a sense of impunity, using power and influence to silence those who opposed him. “Diddy used fear as a tool to maintain control,” the complaint reads. “He built an empire on intimidation.”

This lawsuit is not the first time Burrowes has pursued legal action against Combs. In 2003, he sued Combs over similar claims regarding his Bad Boy stake, but that case was dismissed due to the statute of limitations. His latest filing revives those accusations and expands on them, citing new allegations of sexual harassment and physical abuse.

The lawsuit comes as Combs faces a growing number of legal challenges. He is currently named in more than 55 cases involving allegations of sexual misconduct, abuse, and trafficking. Some of these accusations date back to the early 1990s, while others are as recent as 2022. Federal authorities are investigating several claims, and Combs has been denied bail after pleading not guilty to separate charges.

Responses and Industry Impact

Combs’ legal team has strongly denied the allegations, dismissing them as baseless. “This is nothing more than an attempt to extort money,” a spokesperson said. Despite these denials, the legal battles threaten to tarnish Combs’ reputation and impact his career.

Burrowes is seeking a jury trial and compensation for damages.
