Chaconia Candles is a Black -owned business, created to “created to illuminate memories of contentment and delight and to invigorate positive well-being.”
Owner Jenna Pantin was born in Trinidad and Tobago. Jenna named her company Chaconia Candles, after Trinidad and Tobgao’s national flower, chaconia.
Jenna is a mom of two children, whom she says are her greatest joys. With the support of her family she was able to follow her dreams, “I always loved scented candles. After overcoming my fears of becoming an entrepreneur and breaking the mental chains, I allowed my passion to meet up with my purpose. I started making my first set of candles, with the support of my family and tribe.”
Chaconia Candles is said to help with mental and emotional wellness and can be used as a natural way to heal your mind, body, and soul. The candles are “high-quality, non-toxic, and clean-burning, infused with natural essential oils.” They have no parabens, sulfates, phthalates, or synthetic dyes, and are also cruelty-free and vegan.
