Diddy will be taking the stage at this year’s 2022 Billboard Music Awards not as a performer but as the host.
This is a special moment for the media mogul because it marks the 25th anniversary since he won his first Billboard award for the album No Way Out.
In an official press release, Diddy said, “This will be unlike any awards show- I’m bringing the love and setting the frequency at an all-time high. The Billboard Music Awards truly represent the artists and where music is today, so I’m excited to curate the biggest live performances and surprises. The world has to tune in to see.”
Diddy will also be an executive producer of the show and plans to redo the production in a way that will surprise the viewers.
He is currently working on his seventh studio album since his 2006 album Press Play which debuted at No. 1on the Billboard 200 chart.
The Billboard Music Awards will air on Sunday, May 15th at 8 pm.
