Jada Pinkett-Smith:
Jada Pinkett Smith apologized to Will Smith’s wife, Sheree Zampino, on an episode of Red Table Talk. The theme of the show focused on toxic forgiveness. Jada admitted she was in the picture with Will too soon. Jada and Will got married two years after Will and Sheree divorced. Even though the two women built a sisterhood, Jada revealed that things were messy at first, but Now they’re in a way better place.
Colin Kaepernick:
Spike Lee confirmed that a Colin Kaepernick documentary is underway. It’ll be a multi-part series, where Colin will tell his side of his activism and football joinery. Spike Lee said, “It’s his story, not the false narratives. . . Six years the National Football League has stopped him from playing, [but] he still gets up at 4 or 4:30 every morning to train, five to six days a week. So when that next phone call comes, he’ll be ready. He’ll be ready.” No title or release date yet, I’ll keep you posted.
Stevie Wonder:
Is Stevie Wonder trying to shoot his shot with the singer Ari Lennox. A video went viral of Stevie giving Ari her flowers during a radio interview. In the clip, he wasted no time telling her how amazing she was. Then Stevie asked who she’s in love with, she replied, her dogs. Stevie playfully joked and said he was a dog! See the cute exchange:
George Floyd:
The family of George Floyd is taking legal action against Kanye West. The mother of George’s daughter, Gianna, hired a team of lawyers to sue him after his comments on Drink Champs. As a result of the rapper’s false claims about George’s death, claiming he died of a fentanyl overdose, Gianna is being “retraumatized,” and the family says it’s creating an unhealthy environment for her. Gianna’s mother, Roxie Washington, is also going after Kanye’s business partners and his associates for harassment, misappropriation, defamation, and infliction of emotional distress, They’re suing for $250 million.
Wendy Williams:
Wendy Williams, who was recovering in a wellness facility, is “home and healing.” Her publicist Shawn Zanotti said Wendy is “back and better than ever.” He also said, “Wendy is excited about the road ahead and looking forward to releasing her many projects.” Speaking of projects, Wendy is taking her talents to the food industry. According to PageSix, Rosanna Scotto claims former talk show host Wendy Williams plans to open up a restaurant and asked her for some advice. Wendy was reportedly inspired by Rosanna, who has been the boss of Fresco by Scotto since 1993.
