It’s been eight years since R&B Singer Eric Benét dropped an album. Now the vet is back on the scene and has tapped Tamar Braxton for an assist.
“Something We Can Make Love To” features smooth and passionate vocals from both singers set to an intimate and romantic mood. An alluring exchange of passionate lyrics can be heard over the three-minute track.
“Ima give your body what it wants, ‘cause baby I’ve got so much to prove,” Benét, 57, croons on the first chorus. Braxton, 47, reciprocates the desire in verse two with tender solicitation: “Leave all the lights on, babe/Let me kiss every inch of your face.”
To coincide with the release of the new single, the Michael Rainin directed video is also out now (below).
On the release, Benét shared, “I’ve been friends with Tamar for quite a while and after years of running into each other saying ‘we got to get into the studio’ it finally happened- and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the result.”
He continued, “I’m so honored that my single off my new album is not only with an incredible vocalist; but with a good friend.”
