There has been controversy surrounding the release of the Michael Jackson documentary Leaving Neverland. And despite the legal threats from the Michael Jackson’s estate, they show must go on. HBO and Channel 4 have decided to air the film anyway.
The trailer is officially out and it gives viewers a glimpse at the controversial two-part, four-hour film that premiered at Sundance film festival, highlighting the testimonies if James Safechuck and Wade Robson, who allege that Jackson sexually abused them at a young age.
According to the director Dan Reed, “This is not a movie about Michael Jackson. This is not a movie about Michael Jackson abusing little boys. It’s a movie about two families and how two families came to terms with that their sons revealed to them many years after Jackson died.”
