Foxy Brown isn’t looking to challenge Jay-Z in the foreseeable future. There’s growing buzz that Brown is ready to share her side of the story about her relationship with Hov. According to The Jasmine Brand, she’s preparing to open up about details that have been rumored for years.

Over the years, there has been speculation that Hov pressured Brown into signing a non-disclose agreement her. The motivations behind this belief range from a rumored relationship to a troubled business arrangement. However, Brown has firmly refuted claims of ever signing such a document. In a series of Instagram Story posts on Sunday, she put these rumors to rest and called out those perpetuating false narratives.

Foxy Brown Comments On Hov

The Brooklyn rapper stated, “Stop playin’ wit my name dyin’ for a comment! Can’t spin me with the sucker sh*t to take Hov down. Betta ask bout’ the cloth I’m cut from!” She also responded to a fan who cautioned her to read lightly when discussing Jay-Z. Brown replied, “Y’all want me to be anti-Hov so bad…FOH post that!”

Though Brown was never officially signed to Jay, she joined Def Jam in 1996 and collaborated with him on tracks like “I’ll Be.” For years, rumors have circulated regarding their relationship, with some alleging that Hov mistreated her. Brown firmly rejects these claims, suggesting that critics are more interested in pitting them against each other for their own agendas.
