Halle Berry, set to star and executive produce in Ryan Murphy’s new legal drama on Hulu, “All’s Fair,” has withdrawn from the series, citing a scheduling conflict, reports Variety. This departure comes amidst recent cast additions, including Glenn Close and Kim Kardashian, to the show centered on an all-female law firm in Los Angeles.

Berry’s exit from “All’s Fair” marks a shift in her television commitments, noted as one of the few regular TV roles she would undertake. The specifics of her role in the series were undisclosed, leaving open the question of who will fill her shoes.

Halle Berry’s Other Projects

Despite this setback, Berry remains busy with upcoming film projects. She headlines Netflix’s action thriller “The Union,” premiering August 16, alongside Mark Wahlberg, portraying Roxanne, a character embroiled in the world of espionage. Additionally, she stars in the Lionsgate horror film “Never Let Go,” scheduled for theatrical release on September 27, where she plays a protective mother to twin boys in a harrowing psychological thriller.

Berry has also proven her talents in diverse roles including portraying maternal figures, evident in her upcoming films. In “Never Let Go,” the narrative delves into a gripping tale where familial bonds are tested amidst supernatural horrors, compelling Berry’s character and her sons to cling together in a fight for survival.

“All’s Fair” continues under Murphy’s creative direction, marking a significant project under his new deal with Disney. The series, backed by a robust ensemble including Kardashian and Close as executive producers, has garnered attention not only for its star-studded cast but also for its anticipated portrayal of a dynamic all-female legal team in the heart of California.

Berry’s departure from the series comes amid other developments for “All’s Fair,” such as its inclusion among shows awarded $58 million in tax credits by the California Film Commission. The series is expected to film extensively in California, underscoring its commitment to local production and economic impact.
