Halle Berry has donated her entire closet to help those affected by the L.A. Wildfires.
“If you live in the Southern California area, I urge you to do that same,” the actress said. “This is something we can do right now today to help all of the displaced families that are in need of the basics today!”
Halle Berry has partnered with +COOP to collect gently used clothing for men, women, and children. In a video she posted on her social media, she urged people who were displaced by the fire to get bags of clothes.
“Hey everybody. I’m here with Nickey Kehoe plus the COOP. We’re out here doing what they said they would so, we’re giving back to the community. We’ve got everything you can imagine,” she said. Berry also explained that the pop-up is providing new clothes and other essentials for all ages including baby products, toys, and more.
Berry added, “If you don’t have a bag, come here we’ll give you a bag to take it away with. If you can’t come here send somebody on your behalf. You can also reach out to us.” The movie star also said that victims are free to DM her personally who need help but can’t get to the pop-up shop.
More than 100,000 residents in Los Angeles were displaced and 24 people have been confirmed dead as the fires continue to overtake Southern California. We will continue to keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
