Jamie Foxx suffered an injury that required stitches during an altercation at a high-end Beverly Hills restaurant on Friday night, according to reporting from TMZ.
A spokesperson for Jamie told the outlet, “Jamie Foxx was at his birthday dinner when someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth. He had to get stitches and is recovering. The police were called and the matter is now in law enforcement’s hands.”

After Foxx asked the party to stop, a person at the table allegedly threw a glass at him. It hit him in the mouth and required stitches, a representative for Foxx told the media outlet.
Citing law enforcement sources, TMZ initially reported that police were called to the restaurant around 10 p.m. local time regarding an alleged fight inside — adding that Foxx was involved and was no longer present by the time authorities arrived. Foxx’s name was allegedly listed as part of an assault report taken of the incident, per TMZ.
Foxx recently dropped his Netflix special where he opened up about the mysterious illness he suffered last year was a brain bleed. During the show, he revealed that he experienced an ICH stroke, or brain bleed.
