Jamie Foxx may press charges against the person who threw glass during his birthday dinner.

The incident took place on Dec. 13th at Beverly Hills’ Mr. Chow, while the 57-year-old actor was celebrating his birthday with his family and friends. Reports state that a fight broke out between Foxx’s party and another party.

As tension grew, an unknown person allegedly hit the comedian in the mouth after throwing a glass. He would end up getting stitches. No arrests in connection to the incident have been made yet, but, Foxx is willing to fully cooperate with law enforcement and potentially press charges.

Jamie Foxx left the restaurant before the police arrived at the scene, who responded to a report of a possible assault with a deadly weapon, however, the report was unfounded. According to a press release from the Beverly Hills Police Department, “Instead, the incident involved a physical altercation between parties. The BHPD conducted a preliminary investigation and completed a report documenting the battery. No arrests were made.”

The details about how the incident started have not been released, but a source close to the star says that a group of customers were being vulgar and rude to Foxx. He later seemed to address the incident on his Instagram, where he posted, “The devil is busy… but I’m too blessed to be stressed.”
