Although Jamie Foxx received a Golden Globes nomination, he considers himself a winner because of the love of his daughters.
Taking to Instagram, Foxx shared a photo of himself along with his two daughters, Anelise, 16, and Corinne, 30. The photo shows them walking together at the award show on Sunday, Jan. 5. The acclaimed actor expressed his pride in being a father in the caption.
“Me with my two beautiful daughters globetrotting at the @goldenglobes … a proud father-daughter moment Anelise Estelle and @corinnefoxx. So beautiful and fearless,” he wrote.
“When I was asked on the carpet, what do you think about the awards? I said, ‘I have already won to be here with my two girls. Standing upright. Standing with so much love. It’s not my award. It’s my reward,” he continued. “God is good and I think you know the rest.”

“April 11, I was having a bad headache and I asked my boy for an aspirin.” Foxx then said, “when you’re in a medical emergency, your boys don’t know what the f*ck to do.”
“Before I could get the aspirin I went out,” he said. “I don’t remember 20 days.”
He also shared why he waited to reveal the nature of the medical emergency and his arduous recovery.
“I know a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear updates but to be honest with you, I just didn’t want you to see me like that, man,” he said in the video. “I want you to see me laughing and having a good time. Partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie, or television show. I didn’t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was gonna make it through.”
