After being hospitalized last week for reasons unknown, Jamie Foxx is still in care under a medical staff.
As WBLS reported last week, the star was hospitalized because he experienced a “medical complication.” Sources are saying that the 55-year-old is still in the hospital having tests ran.
“They are running tests and still trying to figure out what exactly happened,” a source told CNN of Foxx’s health scare.
His daughter, Corinne Foxx, broke the news last week via an Instagram post. She did not specify what occurred, but simply called it a “medical complication.” The statement was made on behalf of the Foxx family.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” she said. “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”
Foxx has been in Atlanta filming his latest movie, Netflix’s Back in Action, alongside Cameron Diaz. The source says that the incident did not occur on set. However, set was shut down the day after Foxx’s hospitalization. Filming resumed on Thursday using a stand-in for Foxx on set.
