Multiple shows scheduled for Jennifer Lopez’s eagerly anticipated This Is Me… Now tour have been canceled without public announcement. According to the Ticketmaster website, several dates including Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, New Orleans, Cleveland, and Houston have been removed from the tour itinerary. Fans who have already purchased tickets for the affected dates will automatically receive refunds, easing any inconvenience caused.
While Lopez has not addressed the cancellations publicly, an updated tour schedule shared on her Instagram story on Wednesday (March 12) excluded the aforementioned dates, signaling the changes to her followers.
These cancellations come amidst updates to the This Is Me… Now tour, which has seen significant demand. Last month, due to popular demand, the 54-year-old pop icon added second shows in Miami, Toronto, and her hometown, New York City. This surge in demand follows the release of Lopez’s latest studio album, This Is Me… Now, her first in nearly a decade. Alongside the album, Lopez unveiled This Is Me… Now: A Love Story, a visual component directed by Dave Meyers. The album debuted and peaked at No. 38 on the Billboard 200 chart and claimed the top spot on the Top Album Sales chart.
Reflecting on the ambitious project, Lopez shared with Variety, “Everybody thought I was crazy. And by the way, I thought I was crazy.”
Despite these cancellations, the tour remains robust, featuring a total of 30 shows. However, the ticket sales for many of the remaining dates appear to be below expectations, as indicated by Ticketmaster’s seating charts. While these charts may not always reflect the exact ticket sales, the abundance of available seats compared to sold ones suggests a potential challenge in filling venues for certain tour stops.
