Jennifer Lopez, like many other A-list celebrities, has been mentioned in connection to Sean “Diddy” Combs amid his detainment.
On Monday Oct 28, the actress was leaving a screening of her film “Unstoppable” during the AFI Fest in Los Angeles, when she stopped to sign autographs. The film which Lopez has been promoting over the past few months, was produced by her ex, Ben Affleck.
While signing, a woman asked the 55-year-old, “JLo, do you have any comments about Diddy and the allegations?”
A video published by DailyMail.com shows Lopez signing fans’ programs and photographs, as a bodyguard warns them not to crowd her.
Lopez, who is in the process of divorcing estranged husband Ben Affleck, abruptly stopped signing autographs and stormed off, obviously annoyed by the person’s question.
The multi-talented star’s past relationship with Combs has come under scrutiny following the latter’s arrest on sex trafficking charges.
Combs has been hit with more than 20 lawsuits from women and men, who claim that he and his alleged accomplices sexually assaulted them when they attended his infamous parties.
Combs and Lopez dated from 1999 until 2001, ultimately splitting due to his infidelity. Previously speaking on their romance, Jennifer said: “And we broke up many times before that, and got back together and broke up again, and nobody knew about it.”
She added, “It was very tempestuous. Towards the end it was emotionally exhausting. It was good that I was young.”
Lopez and Diddy never married, however she previously revealed that the disgraced star did refer to their relationship as a marriage and often asked for a “divorce.”
She told Rolling Stone in 2001: “He told me many times, ‘I want a divorce’. I would be away a lot, or he would… he couldn’t go far, whatever, but he would say, “So, where do I send the paper?.”
The couple generally kept their relationship private and Jennifer explained she wanted to keep details about them ‘sacred and private’.
