The latest news in the Johnathan Majors fiasco is not looking like things are getting better.
Deadline reports that talent agency Entertainment 360 and top PR firm, The Lede Company, have both dropped the actor. According to the report, the decision was made because of “issues surrounding the actor’s personal behavior.”
Unfortunately, the saga does not end there. Over in the world of couture, Majors and fashion brand Valentino have “mutually” decided he won’t be attending the Met Gala in a few weeks. He was also pulled out of the Army’s latest multi-million dollar ad campaign that was meant to air during the NCAA championship.
Many fans are waiting to see what movie studio Marvel plans to do about the actor’s involvement in their films. Currently, Majors is set as the movie giant’s “big bad,” Kang the Conqueror for their next few phases. He has already been the center of many MCU shows on Disney+ as well as introduced in the movie aspect of the MCU with Antman and The Wasp: Quantumania.
Johnathan Majors’ Alleged Crime
Last month, Majors was arrested for what was classified as a “domestic dispute” with a 30-year-old woman. He was subsequently released by New York City law enforcement officials. The woman was taken to the hospital for “minor injuries on her head and neck” and later released. Majors was officially charged the next day with “two counts of assault in the third degree, attempted assault in the third degree, aggravated harassment in the second degree, and harassment in the second degree.”
His attorney claims Majors is innocent. Lawyer Priya Chaudhry says that there is evidence of his innocence that “includes video footage from the vehicle where this episode took place, witness testimony from the driver and others who both saw and heard the episode, and most importantly, two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations.”
