Kanye West is facing serious allegations from his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, who claims the rapper sexually assaulted her. Pisciotta filed a lawsuit on October 8, accusing West of drugging and assaulting her during a 2021 studio session. The incident allegedly occurred at a gathering co-hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs.
In her complaint, Pisciotta claims she began feeling disoriented after drinking a beverage served to her by a studio assistant, allegedly at West’s request. “As plaintiff began to slip into an altered and heavily impaired state, she felt less in control of her body and speech,” the complaint reads. Pisciotta says her memory of the night is hazy, but she woke up the next day feeling “physically ill and confused.”
Kanye West Allegedly Brings Up Incident Later
According to Pisciotta, she didn’t learn the full extent of the events until much later. After being hired as West’s assistant and Chief of Staff, West allegedly brought up the incident, stating they “did kind of hook up a little one time.” Pisciotta claims she had no recollection of the event, but West reportedly dismissed her confusion, laughing and saying, “Women love to say they don’t remember.”
This revelation left Pisciotta feeling “overcome with immense shame, discomfort, and utter disgust,” according to her complaint.
The lawsuit also details another alleged assault in July 2021. Pisciotta claims that West forced his way into her hotel room, claiming he needed to use her shower. The complaint states that West then dropped his towel and attempted to thrust his naked body into her face. Pisciotta says she begged him to stop, after which he left, saying “sorry.”
West has denied the allegations and has accused Pisciotta of attempting to blackmail him. In a previous statement, West’s team accused her of making demands for money and material goods, including luxury items like a Lamborghini and Hermes Birkin bags.
West has yet to respond publicly to the latest lawsuit.
