Former Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star Kenya Moore has opened up about her controversial exit from the Bravo series. During a candid interview on the Tamron Hall Show, Moore addressed the incident involving her former co-star, Brittany Eady, and expressed regret over her actions.

A Heated Exchange Between Kenya Moore and Castmate

Moore explained that tensions with Eady escalated during filming for Season 16. “New cast members sometimes come in trying to make a name for themselves,” Moore shared. “This young lady was poking the bear, and things turned dark toward me.” According to Moore, the conflict intensified when Eady allegedly removed her microphone and made verbal threats.

“I felt threatened,” Moore said. “I’m a single mom with a beautiful daughter, and I take any threats against me or my safety seriously.” Despite raising concerns with producers, Moore claimed her feelings were dismissed. “I didn’t feel protected,” she stated. “I was made to feel like a ‘Black Karen.’”

In response to the perceived lack of support, Moore admitted she took matters into her own hands. She revealed finding explicit images online that were allegedly linked to Eady and exposing them during a cast event. “I believed producers would blur the images in the final cut, but I see now that I took it too far,” she said.

Taking Accountability

Reflecting on her actions, Moore expressed remorse. “If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t have escalated the situation,” she confessed. “The photos were distasteful, and I regret elevating the conflict.” Fighting back tears, Moore emphasized her focus on protecting her daughter. “I’ve never been in a situation like this as a mother, and I made a poor decision.”

Bravo, in a statement, confirmed they investigated the incident, ultimately leading to Moore’s exit. “We take allegations of policy violations seriously and took appropriate action,” the network said.

Despite the controversy, Moore hinted at a possible future with Bravo, maintaining a close relationship with executive producer Andy Cohen. “He’s been a great support system,” Moore revealed. “I’m still under contract and could pop up at the reunion.”
