LeBron and Bronny have made NBA history!

During the second night of the NBA Draft, Bronny James was drafted to the Los Angeles Lakers at the number 55 pick making them the first father and son duo in NBA history to play on the same team.

Bronny has created a lane for himself early on in his career. He became a standout star basketball player at Sierra Canyon High School. He would later play for USC before his health scare. According to reports, Bronny has averaged 2.8 rebounds, 4.8 points, and 2.1 assists in 19.4 minutes per game.

Last July, we reported that Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest during a workout. During that time, a spokesperson for the James’ stated “Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest,” a James family spokesperson said in a statement. “Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update the media when there is more information.

We’re glad to know that he is doing well and that he will be playing side-by-side with his father, LeBron James.
