Marcus Jordan Says Larsa Pippen Is ‘Rewriting History’ Amid Breakup

The split between Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen has turned a bit contentious, with both parties offering their perspectives on the end of their relationship.

Pippen recently made an appearance on Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ podcast, where she delved into the details of the breakup, suggesting that she and Jordan were simply not aligned. She stated, “I’m in a place where I’m growing and I feel like we’re just moving on different paths,” emphasizing that while Jordan is a great person, their trajectories didn’t match up.

In response, Jordan took to Instagram stories to express his sentiments, implying that Pippen was manipulating the narrative for attention.

He wrote, “I wasn’t born last night. Rewriting history for clout is not cute. Funny how ppl change, just to be part of a conversation that’s irrelevant. Why give shorty a heart, when she rather have press. Ooooohhh thats that nerve.”

Their relationship has been characterized by ups and downs. They initially broke up in February, shortly after celebrating Valentine’s Day together, only to reconcile briefly before ultimately parting ways again in March.

Pippen, however, denies that their 16-year age gap was a factor in the breakup, asserting that it was more about their current life paths. She explained, “I don’t think it’s the age. I just think it’s where we are right now.”

Reflecting on her time away filming, Pippen admitted that solitude provided her with clarity. “I think when you’re alone, you kind of either miss the person or realize maybe you’re not my guy, and I feel like that made me realize that I don’t think he’s my guy,” she disclosed.

Their relationship, which began amid rumors in September 2022 and was confirmed publicly in January 2023, has been subject to public scrutiny, particularly due to Pippen’s high-profile divorce from Scottie Pippen, her husband of over 20 years.

Despite the breakup, Pippen remains focused on her personal growth and expressed her desire to shift her podcast, “Separation Anxiety,” to reflect her changing circumstances. She intends to alter the format and possibly partner with another woman for the show, aiming to create a space for candid conversations akin to girlfriends chatting.
