Mase reveals that he would consider visiting Diddy in jail although he doesn’t condone what he has done.

During the latest episode of It Is What It Is podcast, the rapper spoke about attending the funeral of the late Voletta Wallace, The Notorious B.I.G.’s mother, and admitted that he would consider visiting his former boss in jail.

Cam’rom gave his condolences to the family and then stated that he heard that Mase had to sit next to Christian Combs, Diddy’s son. “I don’t think he saw me, I would have said what’s up,” he said. “I mean, if my name was on the list I’d go visit Puff, you know? … I would visit him, make sure he was good.” Cam laughed, “Why wouldn’t you do it was he was out?”

Mase continued while laughing, “These are the times when you need people to check up and make sure you’re good.” He also clarified that he doesn’t condone any of Diddy’s actions. Diddy is currently in jail awaiting trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. While he awaits the verdict, the “Welcome Back” rapper wants to make sure that he’s doing fine.

“He didn’t do all bad, he did some good,” he said. “I ain’t talking about the tape stuff and all of that, I’m talking about the musical side. Giving me an opportunity, I think as a person of class you definitely got to show up and sit somewhere in the court if they let you.”

When Cam’ron asked if he believes if Diddy is innocent, he responded that he didn’t know. “If they throw my name on the list, I think right now will be a perfect time for me and him to have a conversation.”

He also spoke about how heartfelt it was at Ms. Wallace’s funeral. Lil Kim, Faith Evans, and Jay-z’s mother, Gloria Carter all attended the funeral.
