Megan Thee Stallion To Perform At Kamala Harris Rally In ATL

Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion is set to perform at a campaign rally for Vice President Kamala Harris in Atlanta. The event will take place at the Georgia State University Convocation Center on Tuesday, July 30. Megan announced the news on her Instagram, stating, “ATL HOTTIES SEE YOU TOMORROW,” along with emojis of an American flag and a blue heart.

Harris’ High-Profile Event

This rally marks Vice President Harris’ first visit to Georgia since launching her 2024 presidential campaign. She will be introduced by alumni from Morehouse College and joined by Democratic figures such as Senators Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, and former Representative Stacey Abrams. Michael Tyler, Harris’ campaign communications director, commented, “We expect it to be as close as competitive this year. That’s why we have the team and the operation in place to make sure that we can turn out every single Harris voter in the state of Georgia.”

In addition to the rally, Vice President Harris will meet with local reproductive rights leaders and activists. This highlights her commitment to addressing key issues for her campaign.

Megan Thee Stallion’s support for Kamala Harris is not new. In March 2023, she joined Harris for Women’s History Month celebrations with other influential women. Megan’s upcoming performance adds her to a list of celebrities backing Harris, including Cardi B, Questlove, Fat Joe, Tina Knowles, George Clooney, and more.

The rapper’s political involvement has grown recently. She urged fans to vote and voiced strong support for protecting Black women, especially during Tory Lanez’s trial. Her participation in the rally shows her increasing engagement in political matters.

Megan’s performance is part of a broader trend of celebrity support for Kamala Harris. Harris’ campaign has received endorsements and financial backing from numerous celebrities. Her campaign raised over $200 million within the first week of her candidacy and gained 70,000 volunteers for various campaign activities.
